My family lived in this house from 1947 to 1949 [I was 9 - 11 years old], when it was designated US House #581. We lived in the left side of the duplex, as you face the building. The structure is just as I remember it, except, of course, it's been painted and the landscaping is more mature, and quite lovely. The side walk area was a drive through in those days and got muddy when it rained. Such a flood of memories come to me as I view this photo.

The information board in this park says, that the gate has been finished in 1910. But its style was used in Japan from the medieval.
