Fantastic photo, I have visited Bocairent a number of times and every time I drive past I am amazed by the beautiful views. This image captures the view perfectly.

Bocairent is a small town of around 5000 inhabitants that is packed with history. It is nestled in the Sierra Mariola Mountains just an hour away from Valencia.

Xàtiva is the capital of the region (comarca) of La Costera.
In addition to a large castle are also other interesting monuments.
The picture is very contrasted, although the castle is less well appreciated.

The “Fallas” are huge papier mache caricatures of famous national and international characters ranging from Donald Duck to George Bush.
They are built throughout the year before being displayed in the many city squares of the Valencian region (Valencia City the biggest of them all) for five days and then on the night of March 19th (the night of Saint Joseph, the patron saint of carpenters!), they are burnt as the towns and cities turn into an inferno of noise and fire.

A small camp site (which is normally only open in summer)lies at the bottom of the ravine. Beautiful scenery hidden away off-the-beaten track in the Valencian region of Spain.
