The US Aircraftcarrier shown here is the USS Midway CVA-41. I was in the navy from 1959 to 1963. I spent the 4 years on this carrier. It is a very proud ship, named after the battle of Midway during WWII, with many firsts and is the first ship constructed for the Midway class carrier.
