Mick Clifton's conversations

G'day "GearWheel" Thank you for the comment on the WABCO 3200, these trucks are now well and truly a piece of mining history and as much as I dislike mining in it's 21st century guise, I still have a nice feeling about these particular trucks and their time and place in my personal time in the mining industry as it was in the 1990's. Sadly I am not familiar with anything about Canada's mining history, I can only guess how difficult and challenging things might be for anyone involved with mining/maintenance in a super cold environment. The changing fate and fortunes in today's Iron Ore mining industry is evident and on display in my home town ~ Newman Western Australia, where the principal miner B.H.P - Billiton has donated a Caterpillar 793 haul truck as a static display unit and entrance statement to the town. Safe travels : Joe

Isn't Scarlett just the best, and Breeze is the living end! I love Singapore - going back just as soon as I can afford it!javascript:Recaptcha.switch_type('audio');

VOTADA, saludos, Joaquim

I only drove on a couple of occasions after repair, shouldn't have done as I was a 'haulpak lekkie' at the time, but great fun. I worked on C shift but left in 1980 so our paths might have crossed. I worked with Gary Dearlove and often wondered what happened to him and the TA 'big bird' (cant remember his real name)
