It's funny but they never seemed historical at the time, just everyday scenes. But I did have in the back of my mind that they would one day be historical - just as photos taken today will be in another 20 years time.

The 'Cannis' is an ex harbour tug that has been extensively modified by its owner. The wheel-house is of wood and fibre-glass construction, and the funnel is false, something that the owner called 'pure Hollywood!'

This photo reminds me of my childhood. I was born in Farnham and as a child, I would often spend hours exploring Hankley Common looking for spent bullet cases (and live ones!)etc. I knew that this wall was something to do with the WW2, you have filled in the details! Thanks.
