'Footpath to Richmond Park' or 'Footpath to Bog Gate' would be better titles than 'Foot gate to Sheen Common' which doesnt make much sense. What's a 'Foot gate'? and you're facing towards the park not the common.
Henry the VIII. And this is not part of the Palace. Only the arch over the entrance to the yard and the house to which it is attached are part of the old palace.
I had no idea the cottage was modern! You've done a fabulous job of creating a building that's in keeping with the adjacent Pembroke Lodge. I love the ornate chimney stacks, the windowed light (sorry I don't know the correct architectural term) and, of course, the lovely thatched roofs. I imagine getting planning permission was quite a challenge! Well done to you and the whole project team for a very pleasing result!

I remember it well. Sometimes you could count the rivets, and the sash windows would rattle - especially if it was Concorde!
