The isthnmos where the Cnidian country ends into the continent is where they dug. Many Cnidian hands went to work and it seemed that the workers were injured supernaturally more that usual from the crashing stone in their bobies and specially in the eyes. So, they sent emissaries to Delphi to inquire about the mishap. And Pythia, as they, the Cnidians themselves say, gave them this answer in iambic verse Do not wall nor dig isthmos. Zeus would have laid off a island there if this is what he wanted. And Pythia having said that, the Cnidians gave up without a fight to Harpagos who was marching with his army.' Bu nedenle Ege bolgesinde tepesinde dolasmadigim yanrdag kalmadi gibi. Ama en buyuk arzularimdan biri aktif bir yanardagi yakindan gozlemleyebilmek.
