Blame Me's conversations
Designed by Richard Cail and opened in 1857, Newton Cap Viaduct carried a railway until 1968. In 1995 it was converted to take the A689 over the River Wear - thought to be the first conversion of its kind in England.
This image is taken from Dial Stob Hill over looking the River Wear and the Eleven Arches Golf Course one early morning.

Newton Cap Bridge or formally known as Bishop Skirlaw's Bridge and dates back to the 1400. Now a quiet crossing after the conversion of the rail viaduct which stands right next to this bridge to road use in 1995.

The goal at the Great Ball Court for playing the Mesoamerican ballgame in Chichén Itza. The idea was for your team to bas a ball to the captain who then tried to hit the ball through the goal. It was said that the winning teams captain would then have his head removed as a prize for winning the game during the most important games which carried out at ritual events.
