Beautiful beach, very steep drop into the sea as I remember. Two paces & you're up to your neck

This view is of "Black Bridge" looking down River Wye towards Lower Lydbrook. This bridge carried a single track railway line between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. The bridge was immediately after the tunnel before Lydbrook Junction

The left foreground shows the remains of training trneches from the First world War.

Great cup of tea and bacon roll to be had at the farm cafe just at the top of the cliff.

Great place for rock pools, the wildlife is amazing there. I believe that the localpark warden still does rockpool rambles there.
