The name of this photography is wrong. It has nothing to do with Salerno a city suth of Naples, severel hours driving away.
The photography is from the village of Tolfa, showing the ruins on top of the Rocca (means cliff). Tolfa is a villige with appr 6000 inhabitants in the provice of Rome.
A few meters west of the picture lives several of my good italian friends. Myself I have been living in Tolfa in the winters the last ten years.
