I love history, and everywhere you turn its there with you.
I have seen rather a lot of the UK having lived in Scotland, Yorkshire, Essex, London, Shropshire, and staffordshire (but not in that order).
I hope now to get to see lots of other places, and for the past 3 years have visited various parts of Italy. But I am not sure of where we shall go next.
I hope that you all enjoy my pictures.

When built in the 1700's this building would have been quite impressive. But now it is dwarfed by the modern buildings that surround it.

The building that was the former 8 Bells Inn Pub, was built by Samuel Clouting, who statue is in the church. Either side of the fromt door there are the innitials S C which Samuel requested to be put. Samuel is my Great, Great,Great, Great Uncle.
