Hi, panaseaah, just found this great shot of the bridge. I tried taking photos when we were on it. I was told to put the camera away, it is illegal to take photos.

Passing by it everyday, I was always afraid that it could suddenly and unexpectedly detach from its base on top of that little grassy hill and would roll down to kill one or two of the unaware smokers gathering outside the busy entrance to the Pavilion...

I was responsible for managing the construction of the Surgery and Brain Research Pavillion in 1978 and hate to admit that I was repsonsible for the placement of this ugly sculpture, donated by an Alumna, in this location. They snuck it in on a Saturday afternoon. Took a large crane to lower it into place. I also take credit for the "Disco" sculpture also in front of the Pavillion. Definitely nicer than this one.

Wrong. This is NOT Sears Tower. Many people make this mistake and take Hancock Tower (shown here) for Sears. Both are similar, black and have two poles at the top.
