The massive mountain with the rock spire on left is actually Varahar Shikar or Fag called 7,647 m high subsidiary part of the main summit Annapurna I. From that main summit is seen only the top as stocky snow dome in the upper center of the massif.

It's cool! Famous view of the incredibly beautiful "Fish-Tail" with its incomparable wild, pyramidal shape... like

That's the 7,219 m high "Annapurna Dakshin/South"! Annapurna I lies behind that and thus is not seen from this viewpoint!

Excellent view of Hiunchuli! The jagged saddle-ridge to left which connects it with Annapurna South is extremely high and sheer towering over the deep side valley of Modi Khola, some six-thousand meters a.s.l. Like
