I'm not sure just where the trail runs over close to the metro area...I have mostly ridden in the Alabama area. I do know a man who left his truck in Cedartown in a parking area by the Silver Comet Trail and it was trashed by the locals when he returned from an overnight stay in the Anniston area.
sheshell...thanks for the comments. As far as what the current state of the property is I don't know. I live about 45 miles or so away from the little Community of Rock Mills. Yes there are mill houses in the area, most of all the little rural towns in this part of the nation have mill homes.

I went to school at West Georgia in 1996. I loved this campus!
