This is actually a picture of the "surge tank". It is part of the hydro-electric station. When the water in the pipeline is turned off, it backs up into the tank.

This is the site of the Non-directional beacon "PYA" located inside the perimeter of the Penn Yan airport. It transmits continuously on 260KHz. The antenna wire is not very visible, but runs up from the small shack to a 2-wire flat top strung between the 2 'phone poles. To the right you can see their visible beacon.

Looking south down the Northway from the pedestrian bridge over the highway that starts a trail up Prospect mtn.

The abutments still remain after the railroad bridge over Trout Brook has long since been forgotten.

Living just west of Cleveland, NY I can say that's not this Cleveland. Cleveland Ohio maybe, but not New York.

This is the top loaded vertical antenna for non-directional beacon "FZ" which is part of the COMLO for Oswego County Airport just outside of Fulton, NY.

This it non-directional beacon "SY" which is the COMLO for Syracuse international Airport. It transmits on 242kHZ. The 3 wires strung between the poles are the top loading section of the antenna which runs up from the shack. The red antenna is the outer marker beacon thansmitting on 75mHZ pointing straight up.

This is the 209KHz antenna for the non-directional beacon "GF" located just west of Fort Edward, NY. It is part of the COMLO for Glens Falls Airport situated with the outer marker beacon.
