I have enjoyed all your photos. I assume you fly. That used to be one of my hobbies. Anyway, thanks for sharing all these wonderful vistas with the rest of us. I have posted a couple from Mallaig and Fort William as well, but they pale compared to yours.

Google Earthlings, please make the dot appear before the sat. image zooms out of focus. Otherwise, who will find it? Thanks for reading.

Splendid photograph!

However, Glen is the Gaelic name for a valley. The main village in the valley of Glencoe is properly called Carnach (A`Charnaich in Scots Gaelic) - not Glencoe village.

Glencoe means "Glen of the river Coe or Cona" as in Ossianic mythology.

The photo was taken from my yacht on passage from Corpach to Oban.

Really great light! Might make an outstanding poster.

A familiar view, though not with the line of cars waiting for the ferry. Now the cars would probably be parked for the Ballachulish Hotel

I had some slides taken there in 1971, while I was waiting to cross on the ferry from North Ballachulish.

The image can be improved somewhat with a bit of Photoshop-ing.
