The cathedral sits atop an underground shopping complex, Promenades de la Cathdrale, which was built under the cathedral. The small building at the street corner is an entrance to the mall.
The office tower behind the cathedral is also above the mall.
Taken after the ugly commercial building in front of the church was being demolished. (Google Earth still shows the building in place; it was demolished in 2002-2003 (?) )

Anyways it was a bit leading since "Walhachin" does exist and is not a ghost town.
Turn off Hwy 1 at Walhachin Road. It is paved all the way. There are still original houses and the original community hall.
I have some property at the very end of Savonas Road and people always stop and ask me where the ghost town is.
