Wow....this is weird that I discovered you, David Covo, while searching around on Google Earth. I just got back from my first visit to Cartagena ( March 2014)....loved it. My Grandparents and Father lived there in the 1930's on amphibious-type aircraft business from New York. I got lots of old photos that I visited the actual locations again. This guard tower that you shot was one of them....in 1927 it was covered with a lot of vegetation. Also wierd....in tracking down where my relatives lived on Manga...I came across and visited with the current occupants of " Casa Covo ". They want me to send them copies of all the old Cartagena photos of my grandfather. How can we communicate futher with one another outside of Panoramio? PS ...I like your photos....were you also flying in some shots....in what?
