Dear billgd0pir, The lady Isabella is the name of the Laxey Mine wheel the name of this wheel is the Lady Evelyn. The wheel was first used at the Sneafell mine and was biult in 1865 by L&G Howell of Hawarden Ironworks in Flintshire Wales. It now lives on the washing floors in Laxey just by the bridge which go's over the Sneafell river which joins the Laxey river at the bridge on the Glenn road and runs down to the sea in old Laxey. yours VOLVO DRIVER ( I took the photograph ).

It generally only rains on days ending in 'Y', that means it rained yesterdaY and todaY, but there's always hope for tomorrow.

I have stayed here,the hotel has very good rooms they also do great food and the 80shilling ale is like neckter. Moffat is the best town in Scotland.
