I used to come here for over 20 years, and when I visited it in Sept. 2007 I was really shocked by the devastation. Even more so when I read about what the consequences may be (there are well existing plans for 'touristic development' including golf courses, a highway just across the lake, hotels exactly in the ereas that have been burned down: coincidence?) Where you there when the fire started? I mean, how did it start, what happened. Do you have any idea? I made pictures of Kaiafas in Sept, but am not able to put them on Google Earth. Any suggestions how to do it?
