Not sure why it's historic. As I understand it, this was a church that was moved here fairly recently, restored and converted into a library.

This park location is actually in Santa Fe Texas/Galveston Co. on 646 n. I grew up right near it. The zip is 77510.Great Shot. I love your web site.

Armand Bayou Nature Center, the largest urban wilderness preserve in the United States is located just outside Houston, Texas near the NASA Johnson Space Center.

It contains 2500 acres of the natural wetlands forest, prairie and marsh habitats once abundant in the Houston/Galveston area. It's possible the name of this park is Pine Gully but I haven't been able to find the name on the web.

Your shot best captures the bowl shape of the crater. Mine encompasses the entire crater, but you must study it carefully to realize it's a crater. Good job.
