This has become a photo with historical significance. The line is quite far through the abandonment process and CP is now lifting the rails.
The started last week at Meath Hill, between Cobden and Pembroke. They expect to run a load of lifted rails south, and then an empty rail train north, later this afternoon (Sunday August 7, 2011).
