I am also from Tupper Lake, as a child, I can remember Monakey and Maids pharmacy. I remember Futterman's furniture stor. My Dad had a bait business on Rt 30 on the hill past Sunmount VA Hospital. The names was Sam's Bait Shop..... Sam Theriault was my Dad....

I'm sitting in a GIS lab in San Diego CA looking at your photo of Shepard Lake NJ. I spent five wonderful summers as a NJ state lifeguard at this lake 1965-70. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed and the clouds are floating memories in my mind. Thank you!
