Caravaning is ok when you're where you want to be; it's the slopping out, emptying the latrine, queueing at the shower block and fetching water every other hour that's the problem. It's all such a hassle. I don't see the attraction at all.
My dad was the same when we were kids. Still is a caravanner. He lugs this big 20 footer around with his merc every summer. I'm amazed you did it when your family weren't keen though. Rob
I think that should have been capitol G. My error for rushing.
Thank You. It really was a beautiful day.
That sounds pretty scary. Bet your heart was well pumping. Still you'll have a vivid memory of it all which is what these photos are all about. Good to hear from you. Rob
Your English is just excellent. You put me to shame.Rob
Hi again TBP.One of these days I'll come and visit your beautiful city and see for myself why you're so partisan.
I currently live on the outskirts of Sheffield in the northern half of England. It's an industrial city where stainless steel was invented and has non of the culture your beautiful city has. This was the home city of my wife,so I moved here when we married in '92.
Origionally I'm from a town called Huddersfield; famous for Tweed cloth and ICI where nylon was invented. They made the fabric used for parachutes etc. Thanks for asking.Hope that gives you some idea.Rob
Hi Rich, it looks like i haven't noticed your comment. Sorry for that, and thank you!
Thanks yves. The Uintahs are really beautiful. My sister-in-law lives in nearby Salt Lake City and this is her favorite place. She insisted we visited on our US trip last summer.
Glad you like.Rob
Cheers for that! I'm going to get a better camera this spring cos it's really limited what you can do with it.I look at some of the ace shots people upload and think my stuff is bog standard by comparison.
How did you get them snazzy multiple bird images on the one frame? Rob
Paul,I haven't a clue. It was one of them un-explained phenonamens (bad spelling). It should have been cold, damp and grey.
So what's the deal with your weather? I thought California was good year round. Thanks for visiting.Cheers! Rob
