Dear Wandermingman,
Enjoyed your photo: A. because I like the old stream rollers, which I still remember being used on the farms during world war 2, and this is a very fine example and in beautiful condition, she must be a well loved machine. and B. I spent many happy hours as a child in the 40's, playing in the park seen behind the steam-roller, that is when the old iron bridge, for people crossed the river was in use. My Uncle and Aunt lived on the other side of the river. The only time I have seen Ball lightening was from their front room, as the lightening rolled down the road and into the river, I did not realise what I had seen at the time! Thanks for bringing back many happy memories, T Atmo
