slopaso, In the San Francisco Bay Area we have been blessed with the forethought of our community. The East Bay Regional Park District its self has preserved over 100000 acres so far. This is in the John Muir National Historic Site. It is with in a 15 minute walk of downtown Martinez. So not far at all ;)

If my memory serves me correctly, in the mid 80's, Harpoon anti-ship missle were assembled in this building. My step dad was stationed here in 83-85. We had a barbque here a cou;ple of times. I was 12-13yo at the time.

I wish the other houses here in Greenville looked as beautiful as this one... I agree... too much development... not enough fore thought... I think we need to preserve out history as much as we can... ps... I am from Ca... and I feel like people are trying to do to Greenville what has been done there.... Keep it spacious ... tear down the garbage areas if you must... build there... but leave these historical types alone... Just saying!
