Geoff Slack's conversations

It was a party political video for 2016 local council elections. Must admit I was a pretty annoyed at the slapdash approach of the councillor who said "this video cost me nothing" - there are rules about these things! lol

None of the content was attributed - nicking people's pictures is one way of making a video for free :( I've contacted the electoral commission regarding their use of such material... you can contact me on greenelk at for further details if you like

Anyway, this detracts from what is a very nice photo indeed :-)

thanks a lot Nikos, best wishes, Fai

Einfach nur faszinierend! ...wie alle Deine Aufnahmen!!! FL - Lieber Gruß - Ellen -

Now I can't stop humming the 'Cheers' tune! Great photo showing that the bar is still attracting tourists well over 20 years since the show ended. All the best, Brian

Thanks Geoff. Iceland is definitely worth visiting. It's totally different from the green pastures of England. I hadn't realised how big it is. We were there for under a week and only saw the south-west of the country. Of course 80% of the population live in or near Reykjavik so that's where much of the tourist business is based. We didn't see the Northern Lights (we didn't expect to) not least because it didn't get dark! It was still broad daylight at midnight. You have to go in winter to see the Lights. Best wishes, Brian PS I've still several photos of waterfalls and glaciers etc. to upload when I can.

Being for a day at sea is for me very rare, to have such a sunset too, Ramil. I have a lot of photos of this sunset, even if not uploaded. Cheers,Daniela

Very beautiful photo, and colors LIKE & FAV Best regards, Ahmet .
