Taken from a glider at around 3000' through the DV panel. You can just see the tug aeroplane taxying on the ground back towards the bus at the launchpoint. Although just low-res images you might be interested in the launchpoint timelapse camera at http://www.bookerweather.dyndns.org/

Regards Mike.

Hello Mike, GE has now updated the image of the are in which this waterfall is. So, I guess you could now place the photograph exactly 'at' the location from where you took it. I believe it may have been 'shot' from the road/bridge.

Also, I am very, very sorry that I have called it the 'Bambarakanda Waterfall' which is incorrect. It should be 'BAMBARAGALA Waterfall' which is the correct name. Yet, even in Sri Lanka people call this waterfall as the 'Rawana Waterfall' which is in fact once again incorrect. I hope I have not confused you on this issue!

Best Regards from SL.

Thanks! Castelo de Vide is a very pretty town, kept very tidy and with plenty of photo opportunities. The region is well worth a visit.
