Many call this an 'artificial' waterfall, meaning that it came into being only after an artificial reservior was constructed higher up in the hills. But, when one studies the georgraphy of the area, it is obvious that the waterway / brook that makes the fall had always existed. Hence, for me, the Hunnas Waterfall is certainly not 'artificial'. Well, I havent been there for a long long time. The only visit was long, long time ago. How about plotting the photo on the GE map. It could easily be identified just below the Hunnas Falls Hotel. Best regards from Sri Lanka.

Thanks! Old Romania is full of these interesting views. You might also like my shots of the Tirgu Mures skyline (4602302) and the Szekelyudvarhely small holdings (4602762). How about a jigsaw of Castello de Vide in Portugal (5451078)? ;)

Well done! I wasn't too far away with my guess of the location - just a bit North! Difficult when there isn't the fine detailed coverage, but that's improving all the time. I've just added another for you, I expect you've been to this one at Hunas Falls. The area around there is really magical, I wish we'd had more time to explore.
