Only accessible by the worst cart track in the world, but it keeps the tourists away!!! Peaceful and quiet and a wonderful place for snorkelling. It´s also worth a visit here during the winter storms....to witness the power of the rough sea is a scary delight !
Living on the island for the first time (early 60´s) Delimara was our favourite swimming hole. The cafe and other buildings are now sadly derelict, and the change in weather patterns causes influx of weed and jellyfish at times nowadays. Still a wonderful place, away from the tourists, as is the very similar Peter´s Pool just along the coast a bit from here.
