Hey Nakhon, good you like the photo of the streetcar. My view is that old towns and cities are a lot more interesting than shiny new ones.

Hey Jill, good you like my photo. Actually my village is a bit further north west of this village. It is called Berlevag ( you can go to berlevaagnytt.com and see their very interesting homepage and formidable webcam. I had a look at it today, and now the 7 October, there is already some snow on the ground. A great place to grow up. You can also go there directly on Google.earth. Ivar

Haugesund has one very clear main street which has a cosy atmosphere,Haraldsgata. This photo, however,is from the parallel street closer to the port, the boats and the open sea. Café Moody is one of the many trendy places in this area.

Paris will have events happening more or less all year round, particularly visible during the weekends, or "fin de semaine" as the French themselves are supposed to say. Here it is multi-, multi event with very lots of differing people in the streets, great show and lots of lively people.

Reindeer grazing on the edge of town. Towards midnight and the sun is getting closer to the horizon and the sea in the north. Seeing reindeer here is an everyday experience; actually, they are quite a nuisance on the roads and in the gardens, but totally harmless.
