This picture would be perfect if those overgrown palm trees were dealt with!!!

WOW, so wonderful !!!

this view is of the light house air strip and lighthouse keepers house at the leper colony.the air strip only runs in one direction and durring the stromy season the piolts have to time the breakers at the end of the field to fly throught them. not for the faint of heart. better yet when you fly in air molokai some times puts stuff on your lap, or sometimes you might be sitting next to some of the best pig hunting dogs in hawaii. aloha in hawian is not hello and goodbye but a action of love from the heart..

the inner and outer bays aseen from its rocky entrance.many of the undersea rocks are not charted as many have found out at the expence of the boats or their lives.

frumos (in romanian)

There are two large shipwrecks. The interenet indicates the larger one was made of concrete and was intentionally placed there as a means of economic disposal after WW II. I don't know the story on the other one. The waters apparantly have dangerous currents and there have been a lot of shipwrecks in the area. The beach is called shipwreck beach. Swimming is not recommended due to the dangerous currents.
