a.onal, do you know, by the way, where was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in those bloody years, in 1915-18?? Yes, he was one of those Turkish officers, who butchered everything Armenian, as he was fighting as if Russians (in reality, Armenians) on the Eastern battlefields. SImply using an argument, that the Armenians are supporting Russians, Turkish soldiers, supported with the wild Kurdish tribes (they always supported each other, as they wildness is a common feature) simply butchered everything Armenian - they understood pretty well, this was their only chance to stop the Armenian treaty. Result: 2 millions of the native Armenian population were killed, all others were forced to immigrate aafter being robbed, raped, family members devided, many thousands of the immigrants starving to death in the Deir Zor desert, on their way to Syria and Lebanon. What did you say about friendship? Mustafa Kemal Ataturk? Historians? They don't have anything to add, as there's nothing to add. I'd wish to say one thing in addition to this: all the territory of Western Armenia (now Eastern Anatolia) is not integrating into the common Turkish life and so-called progress - cities remaining not developed, no new constructions done (since 1920!!!), Kurds live in the old Armenian houses or in houses, made of dfferent shaped stones, found here and there, in the antisanitary conditions, with Turkish military army groups, spread all over these lands. Constant Kurdish-Turkish fighting here and there, in the highlands, and all above mentioned - this all is the Anatolian reality. Aw yes, I forgot one thing - Ataturks portraits are exhibited everywhere, even at bathrooms.....So? Why don't they integrate these territories into the common Turkish progress?? Answer: because until this territories will remain under discussion, this will be impossible. Turkish officials know pretty well that these territories are not Turkish, and there are the conditions due which they must be given back - but as the real players, they will play till the end. 2. Kurds are dominating here, so why do anything for them?? Very ugly, sad and pessimistic picture........Samvel Harutyunyan
