We had a VERY cold night there. And we were 'invaded' by a native quoll in the middle of the night, he was very angry that we were sleeping in his hut. Friends put their socks over a rope to dry, and tried to straighten them out next morning, but they SNAPPED! As I said, very cold.
Great swimming beach. You have to cross Freshwater Creek to get to the track to the campsite. You may be able to rock hop depending on tide. We arrived at dusk & found the start of track difficult to locate, however there is a reflective marker indicating the beginning of the track location.
