This has been a once a year stop(at least) We always come home with a 5 gallon bucket of some great pieces. We end up with some nice terminations. some about 1" to 5"+ and some with some green inclusions. This is a grat place.

Please bring with you: Shovel, pick, garden trowel, 5 gallon buckets, water, knee pads, a saw in case one of the trees is fallen over or is about too! If you don't want to risk have a dugout collapse on you, you could go through tailings around each of the openings. The tailings typically produce some nicer smaller pieces, about 1". If your ambitiuos and a risk taker and dive into some of the dugout holes/pits in and under some of the precariously leaning trees. You could be rewarded with some crystal plates with some of the individual crystal terminations as large as 1' to 2' high and a foot across. If you continue to have luck you may find some dark smokey quartz termination or some crystal which have a green phantom inclusion. Enjoy this! send others my way and i will post other rockhound sites! Thank You! Joe Hitz jhitz555@gmail.com

I really like this photo. I am currently living in Golden CO and grew up in the Seattle area. Just above Golden is South Table Mountain and looks very similar to this one.

That is not the Medford Center... The Medford Center is where Tinsle Town and Circuit City are located.
