As you can see by the plaque, this C. 1850 school bell was brought to the McHenry County Historical Museum from Richmond Township and donated by Ralph and Nancy Anderson

This is the Gannon log cabin that has been relocated to the McHenry County Historical Museum in Union, Illinois.

This cabin was built by Luke and Margaret O'Fallon Gannon in 1843 in McHenry County in Grafton Township. Luke was 15 when he immigrated to the US from Ireland and settled in Illinois because land was still affordable.

This is West Harmony School located at the McHenry County Historical Museum in Union,Illinos.

Local schools bring their elementary school students to Harmony School so they can get a glimpse of what it was like to go to school in the 1900's.

This windmill was used in 1910 thru 1986 and was donated to the McHenry County Historical Museum by the Earl Conley Family from Huntley, IL.

The Historical Museum is located in Union, Illinois
