Not sure what the "29" in title is. The highway is US Hwy. 550 and the mountians in the background are Red Mountain No. 1 and Red Mountain No. 2, from left to right. The valley where the highway is located is known as Ironton Park.
In this area, first was named Washington Pass after a General Washington signed a treaty with Chief Narbona (Navajo). Then (The Book of the Navajo) cited that this was actually the place Chief Narbona was Shot in the back by soldiers. They were thinking that he was one of the band who stole a horse from a soldier. They fired at the group riding away. Hitting him and killing him. This pass is now called "Narbona Pass".
