Thanks for your comment and for looking.
I went to this school also, 1ere primaire. I learnt French there, before I only spoke English. In those days (1955) it was a Catholic school and the teachers were priests.
I like to visit Belgium. Not a lot has changed over the years. Not like in the UK where the developers have demolished most old buildings.

Good evening, Mahdi, and thank you for stopping over. I am very pleased that you enjoyed this old home, and quite grateful for your kind praise.
I hope this evening finds you well, and wish you a wonderful weekend ahead.
Thank you again for your kind visit.
Best regards from the USA,
Mary Alice

Hi Keith
Thanks for your comment. It was taken through a double glazed hotel window. To steady the camera I placed it on a table with a 2 second timer delay.

Hi Keith
Thanks for your comments.
Wester Ross is quite different from the highlands, more light, more flowers and trees. A bit far north, it is even two days travel from Stranrear but worth it. We keep going back.
And yes there are great roads and vues. Not much progress though, we keep stopping to watch the vues.

Hi Keith
Bowed positive slides cannot be scanned in their frames because some of the picture will be out of focus. Only solution is to take the film out of the frame but this destroys the slide for any future use.
I have a box of several hundred Kodachrome slides taken on a Voiglander (built like a German tank). Difficulty is that slide frame thickness varies depending on processing lab; this causes focusing difficulties also.
I missed the Canoscan when shopping for a slides scanner. Epson V750 is much more expensive. It take any film type and size but needs profiles for each film type to get good results.
