Thanks. It is a good idea (sometimes) to turn your back to the main feature in the area and look around a bit. In this case it was the clouds that caught my eye.

Ulf,

I have also heard about the interchanging between the Alberta and Texas oil business. I agree that CFL action is very entertaining and intense! The last CFL match I was at was with the Edmonton Eskimos vs. the Calgary Stampeders. The game's score and rushes went back and forth until Calgary got a touchdown during the last minute! Within the last few seconds of the game, Edmonton took it down the field to win the game during virtually the last second! You may like the Calgary Flames, but the Edmonton Oilers bear the name of the Alberta oil industry and are who I'm rooting for. Anyway, since you lived in Calgary for a few years, I guess I can't blame you for cheering for them.

Cheers,

Go Edmonton Oilers & Eskimos!

No doubt, Ulf, it IS a small world! It's remarkable that we captured that exact same storm in different spots along its trajectory. If you hadn't posted the date of the storm, I probably wouldn't have realized that it was the same storm cell, since thunderstorms are common throughout the prairies in the spring and summer.

Cheers and happy storm watching,

David
