Excellent night shot. LIKE
I somehow missed this shot the last time I checked out your gallery - and I don't understand how I could have missed it! I love the colors. You did a great job capturing that bluish purple of twilight and it looks great reflecting on the water of the bay and the glass of the hotel buildings.
I bet this would look great in a print!
Like 5 from me :)
Oh, have you not been down in Peñasquitos Canyon? If not, it's really worth taking the time for a nice hike through there. I was blown away the first time I went there... such a beautiful big canyon completely surrounded by urban subdivisions. If you didn't know it was there, you could drive right by and never know.
Or if not, we will have sooner or later :)
Milwaukee is a nice city-used to go on liberty there when I was in US NAVY>Thanks Drema!
very nice action shot! like!
very nice, like, hervé
Thank you Monica. You have an interesting gallery.
Thanks Phil and ocminter. Happy New Year to you too. I know it's going to be a photogenic one! :)
Thanks, Drema, I will try that! Too bad I didn't use fill flash for this one (off-camera, camera right would have been good). I'm pretty sure I've been re-inventing the wheel, but I've found that unmodified flash works best as fill in (relatively) bright light. And it has to be diffusers, umbrellas or low warm off-white bounceable ceilings for good flash-illuminated results in low light - and very few casual "models" would have the patience and dedication to endure any of that. (just sharing my newly invented wheel here :) Triangular is the new round, too! :))
