I was born and continue to live in the mountains of Western North Carolina where i enjoy my photography,my partner and my pets. It is my feeling that the pictures i take are a snap shot of life and each one is different from the other. Years can pass between viewing these pictures but when i look at one, it brings a very warm feeling.

This is a wonderful place to see, crossing a creek and going around a bend you see the waterfall gently falling down the rocks.

Water Rock knob on the Blue ridge Parkway.

This is a pic looking down at the I-40 gorge in the Mountains of Western North Carolina/Tennesee.it's often foggy here ,The elevation quickly drop's here from 3000 ft down as the pigeon river cuts it's way through the mountains.

this up the creek by a wonderful waterfall,I'm not sure of it's name but it's up the road from a place people call"Garden of the God's" a place in the East fork Pigeon river. One can see Cold mtn.from the bridge on 215.

This is Emmet,He is a Peek-a-poo,He is 4 years old and lives with his brother Jasper with us here at the log home on Biodome.

Lake Logan is a spectacular place to visit, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. One wouldn't guess that this is a man made lake and that in the 1920's and 30's there was a sawmill and lumber co.here.The lake used to be owned by Champion Paper co.Down the Pigeon River in Canton.A few years ago Champion sold out and the lake got sold to an Episcopalion organization.Up from the lake going into the mountain valley is a beautiful place called Sunburst, the name comes from a lumber co. that used to be there before the area became part of the Great Smoky Nat.Park.

This is another old barn picture on hemphill rd.Sometimes there are a rew cows here in the fall.

there are quite a few old barns in the area and this one is at the junction of Hemphill rd and Shelton Cove rd.
