Beautiful photos. My great-grandmother Giuseppina Bucioli was born in Gorgo al Monticano in 1875. She was the daughter of Francisca da Silva and Luiz Menegal (the names are possibly more Portuguese than Italian). Giuseppina married Santo Bucioli, but I don´t know whether that was in Italy or Brazil. Elisa Buccioli Picarelli, my grandmother, who was Giuseppina's daughter, was born in Gorgo and came to Brazil in 1907 (this date must be wrong because she was 85 years old when she died in 1994). Elisa married Benedicto Picarelli in 1928, in Ipeúna, in the state of Sâo Paulo, Brazil. Benedicto was born on a farm called Paramirim, in Piracicaba, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. His parents were Romualdo Picarelli and Maria Cellini. Romualdo's father was Carmine Picarelli (Picarello?) and both came to Brazil from the region of Napoli... I am still looking for more information about Carmine and Romualdo: I don´t know exactly where they were born, for example. But I would like to talk to relatives of both the Picarelli and Bucioli families.
