In this photo you can see the National Arboretum, the National Zoo (hidden in the pine trees to the left of the image) and the Tuggeranong Parkway, which is a major arterial road that connects Canberra's northern suburbs with its southern ones.

This recreation area is at the base of the hills where Signature, Punchbowl and Dog Leg caves are located. You can camp there - outside area surrounded by the pine logs.

Hello, this is actually a photo of Main Beach, cheers james

Compare this photo with the other one in my album of the same shelter on the Sanctuary boardwalk. Talk about flooding! I couldn't believe that it was the same place!

This photo was taken not far from the Molonglo Gorge car park. It was about 35 degrees (celcius)and after a walk to Blue Tile Pool, the water was soooo nice!!!

I took this photo at the old female orphanage, which is located on the UWS campus while on a ghost tour of Parramatta. I can't explain the white ball of light at the bottom of the building wall. There's no fixed light there and it's different from the other dust orbs that were ubiquitous in my other photos on the tour. Ah well, draw your own conclusions.

I took this photo in a historic, colonial cemetery while on a ghost tour of Parramatta, New South Wales. It's a very interesting old site! I can't explain the pinky-purply mist on the right-hand side of this photo, but it's a pretty colour, don't you think? The 'orbs' are just dust particles.

If you haven't been for a walk through 'The Sanctuary' at Tibinbilla Nature Reserve, do yourself a favour and check it out! The walk is gentle, easy, paved and scenic. The Santuary is a very special piece of Aussie nature that looks, sounds and smells amazing and is brimming with animal and plant life.

An Eastern Grey Kangaroo and two Galahs graze in the grass at Tidbinbilla. A very Australian looking scene!

3 Gates Open at Scrivener Dam as a major flood comes through.
