this combination of trees and rocks makes mountain look very beutiful ,and the sky's light reflected through the rocks adds the beuty.very nice photo.

two teenagers diving off a bridge into a deceivingly calm, jade green water below... in less than 24 hours, the flash flood turned the water muddy brown, rose close to the level of the horizontal concrete support, and nearly washed us off the river bank.

yes, they were. the site, though, was not too high up; probably 400 m asl.

sorry for the late response; just got back from fieldwork. i'm afraid there's no regular transport to the falls,at least since we visited the place. hiking to the place would be fun, if you're up for it. or try hiring a jeep or tricycle from dinalungan town proper. i have no idea, though, of the going rate.

Question...The plan is to start in Manila take a plane to Palawan and then start island hopping and end up in Manila again...Most probably I'll be by myself and would like to do it in a bicycle...What do u recommend...Is it possible....??? Are there any areas I should avoid (other than the do not ride in the city areas) what about places that are not safe?

sa ocampo side tabi iyan. sa itaas kang tubuan river

That is Barlig town, viewed from the rice terraces opposite the road to going to Natonin and beyond.

Thanks, it's one of the most breathtakingly beautiful spots in the Philippines. In 2007, when I was there last, Barlig folks, mostly teenagers, and adults of both sexes, and even elderly women, amazingly, do still service the route hauling kerosene, sacks of rice, veggies, etc.

very pretty site,
