I did say about a mile, but then I didn't get out a tape Measure! Actually it’s about a quarter of a mile difference! My old house once sat where the new bridge is on the Dickinson/Quincy side.

One of the best lake to dive on the east coast. Crystal clear water,and awesome visiability. Lots of caves,must be very carefull when diving. If you go in the fall after they start droping the lake level for rafting below. You can see parts of the lake that is normally to deep to dive in summer. If you enjoy diving ,you must see this lake.
