Dear Battuta there link is quite correct I know were I shot the picture. Were do you come from, Izmir ?

Having clicked, yes I can see the International terminal now. I wouldn't have said anything if it had said "old domestic terminal" but I guess it wasn't old at the time. The satellite imagery on Google Earth of MMA is still dreadful -- covered in clouds.

I have looked and my OS map and yes, I see that it must be Gledswood. Pardon the error. I know you never said anything about Haig. That's why I did. No criticism of you implied or made.

Its name is Peniel Heugh. On a clear day you can for tens of miles from the top. A staircase winds round the inside of the tower to a gallery at the top. Call the Lothian Estates office and ask to visit. You can then pick up the key at the office. It was renovated with public money, so public access is permitted, although few know this. It is a mile or so uphill from the nearest parking space.

It was an Abbey, not a cathedral.
