Yes, we needed rain in Alabama bad. But Lake Jordan is a run through lake. There was no reason to lower it except to be PC, so the other storage lakes didn't feel so bad. Also, usually every two years they lower the lake in the late fall about 2ft to allow property owners to do maintenance on sea walls and piers.
I remember about 20 years ago when a problem was found at one of the dams and the lake was lowered about 10 ft for repairs. Now that was a low, low Lake Jordan!
