In Light of Nature F…'s conversations

Great capture of this meadow Mr. Mackerrow. We just hiked through here and the Rock was an important highlight of the hike.

NOTICE: The trail is closed; has been since January 2008. Several locals say it's been out for longer than that. Work has not even started.

Kind of a drag to drive 350 miles to get some pictures only to find the falls closed. Other falls in the area - but this one is cool.

Date of visit: 5/09/09.

Looking up towards ridge between Lake Fork Peak (left out of sight) and Kachina Peak, from down in cirque below Lake Fork Peak. Feb 22, 2009. Very low snow, and very sugary (TG) snow. Nice clouds though.

Looking down (east) from the top of St Bernard ski run at Taos Ski Valley.

Used to get my milk there. ahhh the good stuff.

Looking North from summit of Santa Fe Baldy. June 15, 2008. Redonda Peak is the peak to the left the small amount of snow on it. The Truchas group of peak is seen in the far north.

View of Lake Fork Peak (right center background) and Wheeler Peak (left center) April 1, 2007, as seen from summit of Kachina Peak at Taos Ski Valley.

About half-way through Section A of Green River float trip, June 2007.
