Hi dreams!Why frontier?
Hey! That's my house! (Not any more...sold it in 1998 when Mom died.) We built it in the summer of 1956. Dad: Dr. Wilbur Keeing, Mom: Jennie Keeling. Brother: Steve Keeling. Me: Bob. I wasn't sure this is it because the dyke isn't seen. The view from the deck through the back yard to the river is spectacular. As kids we swam in the river, had ropes in the trees to swing on, make Tarzan yells. Later, standing on the deck, playing our guitars, singing. Good times, good neighbors, good memories. THANKS!
Thanks for putting this up. It's always interesting to see what it really looks like on the ground when you're looking at Google Earth. Looks really nice there! :)
Saludos Carmelo
MUY BUENA FOTO, SALUDOS DESDE ITALIA, ANDREA.
Nice city, friendly people, nice pic´s, I remember my visit there in 2007! Greetings from Hamburg, Germany
Descriptive.. It can't be much fun playing hide and seek here.
I thought the same thing, but once I had taken a look inside it was quite evident that it was beyond repair. Too many winters and too many vandals have been wearing it down. So this is really a lost cause. But there are other buildings like it in the area that you can buy for dirt cheap and that may be salvageable. Maybe one day I'll do it....
Funny to hear you say "my side of the globe"... I am originally from Germany and moved to the USA just recently.
I don't get down to the Verona area much, but I will have a look through my archives and see whether I don't have some pictures I can add to Panoramio....
