They are more decimated by Grenadians killing them because they are scared of them, than mongooses! They are still around, but not easy to find. This one was saved from certain death when a friend called me to take it away. Released in my garden, but not seen again. They are too easy to kill as they just sit and wait.

I am over the moon just looking at this photo and I have good reasons to be as this photo takes me back (as a child in the early 50's I lived in St Pauls; went to the then St Paul's Model School which is still there but the name has changed. Mardi Gras was one of the area I visited often and I have relatives there and also at Good Hope and Tempe where the Aerials can easily be seen.

These Aerials are a land mark as they can be seen from almost any where in the South Westrn part of Grenada.

What is most interesting is sitting here in England and looking at the photo reminds me of the view we (my wife and I) have from our property in Radix of both Aerial and also knowing that our property (the roof at least)is somewhere in the photo. Perhaps it is appropriate for one to say this photo brings us close to home.

Thank you for the pleasure it gives us just looking at it; the magnificant aerial view of what is the parish of St George and beyond and the story it tells of the Island of Grenada (the country of my birth).

Hi there, It has been some time since I have been there, but did get the car to near where the photo was taken, a small hotel. There is meant to be another route to the beach, which was blocked by a tree at the time. I believe it is called Cabiere Beach.

If this is fishing in the Parish of St David you are probably right, but if you meant fishing in St Savids Bay you are too far to the right by about a mile and a half.

I suspect the photo has been placed in the correct location, I have not yet gone to that vantage point, although I live about 3 minutes drive away. But it is not Petite Bacaye as that is 1.77 Klicks to the left just to the right of the square shaped school. I suspect that is St Davids Bay, just up from the Grenada Marine Yard.

Nice shot with good composition regardless.

It gave up the ghost and disintigrated.

It was a device for drying cocoa seeds, cloves, and similar spices.

The top slid over the trays when needed to keep the rain off.

Hi,

Your photo is out roughly by the amount Hogan says, please check for other photos of Annandale Falls up and to the left of your location, and you will be about right.

Hi,

Your other photo of Annandale Falls is much closer to the true location.

Ahh well that's the Spanish influence.

However it is now GrEnada before and after independance from the British, before that it was Grenayde I think the spelling was when it was French, and before that GrAnada when it was Spanish.
