This hill was an early "playground" for me and associates at Redruth School of Art, armed with Yashica twin lens cameras and Kodak Tri-X pan, glad to see that much of it is still largely intact, bet its cold up there today!

If you drag the google map over to Green Rocks you will see a gaping hole in the landscape that is now earmarked for building a marina, Penlee means Flat Stone Headland and it is the original source of greenstone ceremonial axe heads hence the contemporary Green Rocks name.
